The Bishop Metropolitan is Primate of the Church and as a successor of the Apostles holds ultimate authority in the Archdiocese sacramentally, jurisdictionally, pastorally and administratively. He may delegate particular responsibilities or tasks to others at his discretion in order to allow himself to be a "Pastor and Shepherd to his flock."

The Chancellor of the Archdiocese is responsible for all administrative affairs, official correspondence and formal relations with external organisations and all legal matters pertaining to the Church. He works in close collaboration with the Bishop Metropolitan, Bishops and Council as well as the Vicar Generals and Episcopal Vicars ensuring dissemination of information and effective communication between the various Officers.
NOTICE
The Bishop Metropolitan's consultative body in all areas of government of the Church, consisting of all the Bishops and others so appointed to advise the Archbishop. Members of the Council are known as "Canons" from the Latin "rule" and are the representatives of the Church and the Electoral College for the selection and appointment of Bishops.
The Vicar Generals are appointed by the Bishop Metropolitan to share particularly in the exercising of his authority in matters jurisdictional, pastoral or administrative for a particular geographical area. Episcopal Vicars are clergy appointed by the Bishop Metropolitan for particular areas of policy or administrative responsibility.
