VOCATIONS

Every Christian person has a “vocation”, to be a disciple, a follower of Jesus Christ.  However, some people feel called to devote their lives further to the ministry of the Gospel either as “clerics” e.g. as a Deacon, or a Priest; others to living a more religious life e.g. as a monk or a nun and others still to devoting their “spare time” as ordinary people assisting those in the clerical state and the Church in various forms of lay ministry.

The Old Catholic Church in Europe has options for all these expressions of vocation and welcomes interest from any Christian wishing to explore further these opportunities with us.  The following web-pages provide more information on discerning and realising a vocation with the OCCE, the process and requirements for such and contacts.
